QUILTING METHOD
10. Use the light gray thread to Double Topstitch (page 25) the denim and red strips, horizontally and in a random fashion. Stitch to within 2" to 3" [5 to 7.5 cm] of the edge of the Quilt Top.
FINISHING THE QUILT EDGES
11. Referring to the Fold Finish Edge (page 28) instructions, trim the Quilt Back and batting even with the Quilt Top, then fold and pin the edges according to the instructions.
12. Using gray thread and a Double Stitch Edge (page 29), sew around the perimeter.
13. Go back and finish sewing your Double Stitch Quilting from Step 10 to finish the quilt.
